                                            BRUCE & CATHY

BRUCE AND CATHY ZIOLKOWSKI, together with their children, JOSH, NATE AND KATYE, are serving the Lord at Fort Wilderness, a Christian camp located in McNaughton, Wisconsin, just north of Rhinelander.

Bruce and Cathy’s positions as maintenance head and head cook, respectively, provide an excellent backdrop for ministry to the many young volunteer staff that pass through camp each year. Serving side by side with young people, developing relationships allows them opportunity to speak into their lives the attributes of Christian character as they face future decisions.

Katye's passion is at the stables and she has a way with reluctant, fearful riders doing all she can to ease them into a pleasant riding experience; once a week she helps with therapeutic riding at a stable in Rhinelander. Nate will be head of riflery at camp this summer. Weekdays find him finishing up school, working at a sporting goods store in town and taking a small engine class at the community college. Josh works full time outside of camp helping when he can at special events such as serving at our annual 'Valentine Banquet'. Winter weekends find all three challenging campers and other staff on the broomball courts.

Fort Wilderness is a not for profit, non-denominational Christian camp. Founded in 1956, "The Fort" exists to present the gospel of Jesus Christ and build up and encourage believers. Families and young people come to Fort Wilderness to be refreshed as God's creation offers peace from the everyday stress of life. The grace of God is freely offered to all through Jesus Christ's sacrificial death on the cross The staff desire to show Christ's love lived out in service.

The 'Fort' vision is to come alongside the Church by providing camping and staffing opportunities that will encourage and impact future generations, introducing them to Christ and developing disciples.
